Prior to closing the Tomorrowland mainstage this past Friday, they ask fans to send in their tracks via email. Read more below.
EDM’s favorite Aussies, Knife Party, created quite a stir after the first weekend of Tomorrowland, as they asked the audience to send in their creations, for an opportunity to be featured on the duo’s set scheduled for the following week.
Quite naturally, ambitious producers from all over the globe went nuts on receiving this prospective breakthrough opportunity, as Knife Party were scheduled to play this past week on Friday – to close out the Tomorrowland Mainstage. This was huge, and word spread quickly.

Eventually, they got bombarded with over 300 emails, resulting in their mail server crashing down. This didn’t dampen the spirits of the hopeful, as Knife Party confirmed that about 20 of those emails made the cut and they were pulling the plug on the opportunity right away. They did remind the guys about certain specifications after the much expected plunder:

All in all, a brilliant move by the Aussies – considering how difficult it is to get breakthrough opportunities like this. A thumbs up from The Sherp’s end.
