He might have forgotten the words, but definitely didn’t disappoint.
On the first day of the Day For Night Festival in Houston this weekend, headliner Kendrick Lamar had a pretty brilliant set (as usual). At one point, he invited a fan onstage, first making sure he knew the lyrics to the rap. The fan said he did, but when he came up on stage, he (understandably) forgot them. But he seemed quite unfazed, and freestyled with funny lyrics of his own instead.
The fanΒ can’t really be blamed for blanking out in front of a massive crowd. But kudos to the guy for actually standing his ground and thinking on his feet, instead ofΒ running and hiding in shame. Here’s the video:
