The dynamic dubstep-duo of MC Karma and Shivam Ghai, are creating brilliant soundscapes that ensure India is on the map for their prowess in dubstep music.

Founded in 2016, Bass Foundry was put together by Delhi’s most exciting MCΒ Karma, and hip-hop artist and DJ, Shivam Ghai. The two-man act launched last year under their moniker, Bass Foundry and became the first dubstep duo to emerge from India. Circulating in the Delhi nightlife scene when Bollywood and House was prominent, the duo took it upon themselves to put the harder dubstep sound on the map.

The release of their debut EP titled, Β “Birth of Atacama”, proved their creative genius and their ability to make really amazing music. Launched on 17th March, earlier this year, Shivam Ghai describes the album as “an alien attack done, melodically”. And we are in agreement with his point there. The EP sets the tone for some extraterrestrially inspired beats and rhythm that borders on being a vocal representation of the monster out of “The Call of Ktulu”.

Donning their masks and spinning some mind-blowing sounds, this duo is as exciting as they come! The rhythm is hard, the beats are low, and the track is catchy as hell! There is no reason why you shouldn’t like this!

The bass-duo kickstart an India tour this August to promote their debut EP, so keep your eyes peeled for any news of their arrival; you do not want to miss this act!
