This April Fools’ Day, don’t’ be a fool and miss out on one of the most kick-ass festivals to hit the circuit, courtesy Bira 91.
We’re talking about the first edition of The Bira 91 Presents April Fools’ Fest, a pure celebration of nothing but unadulterated fun. Have your ears perked up at the sound of this? Then the dates you’re looking at are 31st March and 1st April, so make sure you head over to the NSIC Grounds in New Delhi to celebrate two days that will treat you to much more than just a few senseless pranks.
A little fun fact, April 1st is the 91st day of the year. And to bring in another 91 connection, the number also stands for the India code. Rings a bell, quite literally.
Bira 91 is going to create an urban contemporary vibe and bring together a series of experiences that range from music to comedy to art to theatre and much more.
The music aspect will host the likes of Indian hip-hop megastar, Divine; Grammy-nominated artist, Raja Kumari; ace rapper PrabhDeep; the first lady of Indian hip-hop, DJ Ishani; international music collective representing USA, UK, India, and Jamaica, MadStarBase; American rapper, LushLife; 80’s Breakdance, Hip Hop & Acid House guru, DJ Uri; co-founder of Reggae Rajahs, DJ MoCity; Bangladeshi-American rapper, Anik Khan.
The comedy line-up is filled with laughter kings and queens like Sumukhi Suresh, Anu Menon, Neeti Palta, Aditi Mittal, Aadar Malik, Sahil Shah and Atul Kharti.
The F&B zone will cater to your taste buds with gastronomic delights by pop-ups such as Bira 91 ‘Hot Stuff’, Eggjactly, The Grumpy Old Man, Amma Haus, Asian Haus, Fat Lulus, Big Fat Sandwiches, Keventers, Imagine, Sugarthreads, Minus 30, and All Things Chocolate.
