This Friday The Blues And Hip-Hop Take The Stage At Vh1 Supersonic Takeover In Pune

The party never ends with Vh1 Supersonic.

The festival might have concluded on the 11th of February 2018, but Vh1 Supersonic promises to have much more in store for you throughout the year. That’s right, Vh1 Supersonic Takeover is back and it’s heading to Pune this Friday.

On the 23rd of March 2018, catch Jazz icons Soulmate and India’s premier Hip-hop/Trap DJ, DJ Sa, at Unwind from 8 pm onwards. Supporting the two acts will be soloist JameerK and DJ Yung Maddy, both local talents from Pune.

The blues-rock band from Shillong, Soulmate have serenaded the nation with their addictive lyrics and soulful tunes. They are also the only blues band to represent the country at the 23^rd International Blues Challenge organized by The Blues Foundation of America, in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, in February 2007 and 2010. DJ Sa, voted ‘India’s best Hip-Hop DJ’ at the inaugural VH1MyFav Awards, has played a key role in promoting Hip Hop/Trap music in the country. He is a favourite at several clubs around the country and has opened for the likes of Akon, Chamillionaire, Kardinal Offishall, Sean Kingston, SnoopDogg (Lion), MIMS and DJ Green Lantern.
