From evolving from an underground sub-culture into the music industry’s most exciting genres at present, EM Awards celebrates all those that have made this possible!

The inaugural edition of Electronic Music Awards is set to take place in Downtown Arts District in Los Angeles, live on Thursday, September 21st, 2017. The awards ceremony spans across 11 awards celebrating the leading underground and commercial artists, creatives, executives, and visionaries, that are making electronic music in the present day a mass culture than just an underground sub-genre. The Awards Show will be streamed live on Twitter, starting at 8:17 AM IST on September 21st.

Once an underground movement and shunned upon genre, electronic music has taken the world by storm expanding into the $7.4 billion industry, that it is today. From being incorporated in films to being the most popular sound at music festivals around the world, electronic music has shown its mettle in terms of being the most exciting and popular genre today.

The Awards Show is produced by leading live events production company Live L!ve Media, with strategic brand partnerships curated by entertainment marketing firm UG Strategies. The executive producers for the awards night include 3-time GRAMMY nominated producer, DJ Paul Oakenfold and creative entertainment company, Hunt & Crest. Awards will be nominated upon by a body comprised of the leading advisors and executives within the electronic community.

For its inaugural edition, EM Awards has partnered with Twitter to live-stream the Award Ceremony live on the platform, to Twitteratis around the world. The streaming will be available to all users, regardless of whether they are logged in or not.
