Ultra Music Festival celebrates its 17th edition this year, and The Sherp dug into the vault and found all the line-up flyers that Ultra have released since it’s first edition back in 1999.
With Rabbit In The Moon headlining the first edition, this is where it all began.
John Digweed, Sasha, Paul Van Dyk, Dave Seaman provided the ammunition alongside headliners Rabbit In The Moon.
This techno roster with Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong, Nick Warren and Sander Kleinenberg put Ultra Miami on the map.
A special Florida and Club Space (Miami’s top club) showcase stole the show this year.
Pete Tong made his presence felt with an insane BBC Radio One roster.
Britain’s best took over Miami as the Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold and John Digweed completed the headliner names.
Perhaps their dullest flyer of the lot, but the line-up was anything but dull.
The Killers and The Prodigy. That must’ve been something.
New names on the block – Fedde Le Grand, Sander Van Doorn among the ones who made it big.
A certain Swede called Eric Prydz emerged, and transformed progressive house.
Mainstream music takes over Ultra.
Well… take my money?
The debauchery expanded to three days, because two were just not enough.
By this time, Ultra was firmly established as the premier electronic music festival in the world.
Even 3 days wasn’t enough, so they added a weekend.
The Sherp’s documented his first ever Ultra experience last year, and what a year it was.
The one that awaits..
