Skrillex is going emo once again!
The talented EDM producer has been in the news for a number of different reasons. Whether itโs his on and off again association withย Diplo, new music, live performances and what not; the star canโt seem to stay out of the headlines. Now, as his latest venture would have it, Sonny John Mooreย has confirmed that he has rejoined hisย emo outfit โFrom First To Lastโ after he parted ways with the band in 2007 to pursue his solo career as Skrillex. The young producer confirmed the news at theย 59th annual Grammy awardsย on Sunday, February 12th.

Talking toย APTV Correspondent Nick Major, the star said,ย โI left the band, but I would say Iโm not left anymore.โ
However, the star was quick to put rumours to rest, that he has abandoned hisย Skrillex projectย as a result of his reunion with โFrom First To Lastโ. He said,ย โIโm not stopping what Iโm doing with Skrillex either, but I havenโt left [the band] anymore.โ
In what can be described as a comeback, From First To Last played theirย first show in 10 years at โEmo Niteโ in Los Angeles earlier this month! According toย rockandmetalnewz, the band played out seven songs of theirs. You can check out Skrillex performing vocals on tracks like โNote To Selfโ and โSecret’s Don’t Make Friendsโ in this official 14 minute footage of the gig below.
Itโs turning out to be quite a jam packed few weeks for Skrillex, having just played a headline set atย Daft Punkโs pop-shop-cum-museum opening in LAย and with the announcement of rejoining the band.
