When Deadmau5 says it’s gonna be good, you can be sure it will be.
After Deadmau5‘s hugely successful Cube Stage design, it seems he’s at work on a Cube 2.0. Some time back he uploaded a clip on Instagram showing him playing around with designs on the Unreal Engine used to create many of todays realistic looking video games but can also beused for VR design and construction as he is seen doing. The design seems to be based on the cube concept but with upgrades.
There are no concrete pictures or updates yet but Joel definitely seems amped about it and has promised to unveil the design at the VELDFest in Canada. The show will include both old and new stuff and, in his words, be a “live show hybrid-ish thing.” Though the show won’t be streamed anywhere, Deadmau5 has promised it won’t be the last shwo of its kind so hopefully we get to feast our eyes on it soon.
My god @VELDFest is going to be fucking special… 😉 pulling out all the fucking stops for this show… ALL OF THEM.
