Comic Con is the rage among westerners where all comic lovers, superhero fanatics and cosplay aficionados flock to each year. The Comic Con fever took over India in 2011 and this year it enters the sixth year since its inception and is set for a larger than life comeback having announced five cities on its roster. It began with editions taking place in Mumbai and New Delhi exclusively, but this year the festival expands to Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore as well.

Last year turned out to be a comic geeks fantasy come true! A massive attendance of over 1.5 lakh people, dressed as their favourite superheros-now isn’t that some stuff out of a dream! Each year Comic Con offers attendees an immersive experience that takes you back to nostalgic times of your childhood, dreaming up all those action sequences penned down in your favourite comics….aah to relive the good times! Expect to be treated to a wide range of comic merchandise, gaming zones, meet and greet sessions with special guests and a definite dreamlike experience!

Over the years, Comic Con India has brought some exciting acts and special guests, and while the announcement hasn’t been made yet, it is safe to assume that this year is going to feature just as many exciting acts! Comic Con will hit the five cities in India and will take place over 2 days each. While the dates for the Pune edition haven’t been announced yet, the city is sure to have its share of Comic Con madness just as the dates come out.
