People of Colorado and festival lovers alike, rejoice! The American state is all set to host what promises to be a massive, full-fledged music festival, curated by the force behind the famous Electric Forest, and it’s called Vertex!
Come August, the newย 3-day camping festival willย have big shoes to fill. Vertex is headed by Madison House Presents, the same people that produce one of Michigan’s finest electronic music festivals, Electric Forest. The dates and initial lineup have been announced: Vertex is scheduled for August 5-7, and it’ll happen atย Cottonwood Meadows in Buena Vista.

In an interview with ThisSongIsSick, the President ofย Madison House Presentsย Jeremy Stein had this to say:ย “Today is the start of something very special in Colorado, and we are excited toย honor the approval we have received from the Chaffee County community.ย Participation in the permitting process, from many voices in the community, haveย created a true collaboration. We aim for this festival to be a mighty source ofย Colorado pride.ย The setting is stunning, the music will be amazing, and the artย will inspire.ย At the festival’s core, is a community seeking fun, exploration, and common ground.ย This is the inauguration of a magical Summer celebration.”
Some big acts have been announced in the lineup: ODESZA, Seven Lions and Duke Dumont are only three names from a very versatile Phase 1 lineup!
