The band just released a new version of their hit song and fans already love it.

We can’t stop talking about Coldplay. And ever since they gave a mind-blowing performance at The Global Citizen Festival India last month, the excitement about the band has grown even more than before. The band performed for a whopping two hours, much to the thrill of Mumbai fans who were lucky enough to witness and be a part of this amazing experience.

Since their incredible performance in the city, the band has been making news for their highly anticipated shows all over Asia as well! Chris Martin, front man of the band, recently showed his romantic side too when he invited a fan onstage to propose to his girlfriend; giving both of them a surreal experience that was second to none.

And the good news just keeps coming. Today, the band has premiered the video for the newly-recorded, special stripped-back version of their hit song, ‘Everglow’. The single, which is the latest song from their ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ album, has already become a massive success.

This newly-released version wasn’t part of the original plan but was an unpredictable result of a technological glitch that went down at a major music festival few months ago. Turns out, at the band’s glorious headline performance at the Glastonbury Festival in June, a technological mishap forced Chris Martin to perform an unrehearsed solo performance of the song.

The band ended up liking that version so much that they decided to release a new, similarly stripped-down version of the song. The video,Β directed by Ben Mor, also features excerpts of Muhammad AliΒ speaking to a live studio audience in Newcastle upon Tyne, in 1977.
