A United Nations sanctioned event, the Peace One Day Festival will showcase some fine international and local artistes on the eve of the World Peace Day

It’s not uncommon for people to speak of music and peace in the same breath. Now, a new global initiative is pushing harder for them to be linked officially. The brainchild of actor-turned-filmmaker Jeremy Gilley, Peace One Dayβs objective is to institutionalise World Peace Day (September 21), making it a day that celebrates global unity and intercultural cooperation. And spreading peace through music is its prime motive.
The Indian edition of the event will be held on September 20, and it has been jointly organised by EventwalaΒ andΒ Vh1 India. The party will feature some popular international psytrance names as well as a fine set of local musicians. Check out the line-up below:
