Held at Fillmore Miami Beach, the 2017’s edition of the BET Hip Hop Awards turned out to be one hell of a night for Cardi B.

Bringing The Bronx to 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards was the record-breaking rapper Cardi B who brought New York City live on stage as she performed her hit song Bodak Yellow. Held on October 10, Cardi B was introduced to the audience by DJ Khaled, followed by which the venue filled with applause as the crowd rose to their feet to welcome her.

However, it was not only her performance that was the highlight of the night. Cardi B won not one or two but five awards at the BET Hip Hop Awards this year. She was honoured with the ‘Best New Hip Hop Artist’, ‘Hustler of the Year’, ‘Single of the Year’ for Bodak Yellow, ‘Made-You-Look Award’ (Best Hip-Hop Style) and the ‘Best Mixtape’ for Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2.
