In an effort to create something amazing, the non-profit organization ‘Big Imagination’ is working on engineering a Boeing 747 which they’re planning to land in Black Rock City.
We can all agree that with each year, the art, activities, installations and art cars only get better and better at Burning Man.
However, what Big Imagination has planed for the festival’s 2015 edition really takes the cake. The project includes the modifying, assembling and engineering of a Boeing 747, that will land in Black Rock City , come September. The Boeing
They’ve already gathered over 100 volunteers to work on the project. The aeroplane will basically be this massive interactive experiences for everyone on the Playa.
The non-profit organisation whose mission statement centres around supporting and “Bold, inspiring and visionary projects from a variety of disciplines,” recently released the following statement about the project.
“IN 2015 WE WILL BRING TO BURNING MAN ONE OF THE LARGEST AND MOST INSPIRING ART INSTALLATIONS THE COMMUNITY HAS EVER SEEN. THIS IS A REAL BOEING 747 THAT WE ARE MODIFYING INTO A GIANT, MOVABLE, INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE FOR BURNING MAN 2015 AND MANY YEARS TO FOLLOW.”
