The ‘Blood Rave’ Will Be Held At New York Comic Con This Year

Amsterdam’s mysterious blood rave is coming to the States.

About a month ago, we reported that Amsterdam would stage a one-of-a-kind ‘Blood Rave’ based on the opening sequence of the 1998 vampire movie Blade, starring Wesley Snipes. The event’s Facebook page had no official venue or artist announcements but it did mention that it will go down from October 31 – November 2 somewhere in Amsterdam.

After the popularity this concept received in such a short span of time, organizers have decided to bring this bloody party to America. The New York Comic Con will play host to the very first American ‘Blood Rave’.

The comic con edition of the rave will include a chill zone inspired by the apartment of Wesley Snipes’ supervillain archenemy, Deacon Frost, as well as performances from The Crystal Method and Pictureplane. The blood rave will take place at Terminal 5 in New York City on October 9.
