Aphex Twin is back with his first live show in the U.S. and we’re excited!
Anyone who knows about Aphex Twin and his legacy is not oblivious to the impact his music has had over different artists from various genres. A legendary techno-head who has been in the business for over two decades, his music has constantly been evolving as well as staying the same. Aphex Twin’s comeback in the year 2014, with his album Syro, made a lot of fans go crazy and the music world in general too!
Although he released new music for hungry listeners, he has been quite absent from the live shows front. Until now! Aphex Twin played only a couple of shows in Europe in the past decade but he is all set to break his hiatus now.
Houston music festival Day For Night revealed recently that Aphex Twin will be playing live at the event after 8 years of not playing in the United States! His last show in the U.S. was back in 2008 when he played at Coachella. The Day For Night festival is slated to take place on December 17th and 18th and is set to reveal other artists on the line up soon enough!
Until then, all we can do is go ga-ga over the fact that Aphex Twin is back!
