After a successful stint in Delhi, the Grub Fest aims for national expansion starting with Pune!
The Grub Fest, now entering its second year will hot its 5th event for the first time in Pune. Conceptualized as India’s food carnival, the festival houses live sized pop up restaurants to home-made carts, food trucks to kebab grills, candy stores to organic bazaars. This celebration of food also features amazing live performances for the pleasure of foodies all over the city. Here are some things you can expect from the Grub Fest, Pune :
1. The food is of course the most important element of a food festival.
Grub Fest offers an endless variety of cuisines, both local and international. Featuring top of the line restaurants from Pune, Delhi and Mumbai, get ready to put on a few pounds. You’ll be spoiled for choice with over 50 brands like Darios, Euriska, Dezio, Raasta Café, Punjabi by Nature, Courtyard by Marriot, Asian Box, Prem’s, Marrakesh, F Beach House, Mia Cucina, Faasos, Chicago Pizza set to be present at the venue.

2. The Grub Arena will complement the delectable food with an eclectic blend of live music performances!
The festival is not just about food but also about listening to some great music. The Grub Arena lineup features celebrities & big performing artists like Raghu Dixit, Anish Sood, BLOT, DJ SA, Joshi, Ankur & The Ghalat Family, Bombay Basement, Big City Harmonics, Mannfarid, as well as the seasoned performers – Barmer Boys, who carry forward the centuries-old musical tradition of the Manganiyars and are leading examples of Rajasthani folk and Sufi music, all only at the Grub Arena by Summer House Cafe.

3. An island bar!
Grub Fest and the Summer House Cafe have collaborated to create an amazing rustic island bar made entirely out of ship containers!
4. Shop away at the Grub Market!
The Grub Market hosts a range of fresh farm produces and organic, pro-environmental preparations in beautiful bazaar set ups. Part of the exhibit are fresh and organically produced vegetables, salads, homemade jams, namkeen, wine ice-creams, waffles, cupcakes, honey, aam papad, gluten free cakes and biscuits and so much more.
5. An area just for the little ones!
Parents can relax for a bit while their kids make the most of the special area created by Timezone. It’s a great place for them to eat, play and enjoy themselves to the fullest at the festival.
6. The secret to a successful festival is all about location, location, location.
The stunning Royal Palms in Koregaon Park, Pune will play host to the Grub Fest. Launching on the same day, the food festival will be the venue’s debut commercial event!
