TIMEOUT 72 has got the country buzzing with excitement and curiosity over its first edition. Right from the jaw-dropping lineup, to bringing the music festival fever back to Goa, TIMEOUT 72 has definitely got people talking, and for all the right reasons. The Lineup

With two major global stars – Wiz Khalifa and Jason Derulo – making their debut in India at the festival, this is as large as larger than life can get. The ‘Swalla’ hitmaker and multi platinum artist, Jason Derulo, will get you grooving to his infectious worldwide hits like ‘Swalla’, ‘Tip Toe’ and ‘Talk Dirty’, to name a few, on 27th December. Meanwhile, Wiz Khalifa’s presence at the festival is a big boost to the multi-genre direction that the country is looking to adopt at its festivals, moving away from the pure EDM trend. He will be thrilling his fans on 28th December. And, ofcourse, DJ Mag’s Top DJ of 2016 and 2017, Martin Garrix, will be headlining the third day of the festival, hence concluding the festival with a fitting grand finale on 29th December. A few other acts making their debut in India with the festival include Australia’s Numero Uno – DJ Timmy Trumpet and World No 11. Don Diablo.

The Psy and Trance Stage will host Coming Soon, Vini Vici, Ritmo, GMS, Symbolic and Skazi, while India’s most beloved indie acts – Lucky Ali, Paon, Midival Punditz, Hari & Sukhmani, The Local Train, Prateek Kuhad, Advaita, Parvaaz, Prem Joshua, When Chai Met Toast – will light up The Live Stage. Don’t miss festival favorites such as Grammy winning duo NERVO, Zaeden, Lost Stories and Sem Voxx, Third Party, Lucas & Steve and Justin Mylo.

India’s first and the world’s second differently-abled DJ, DJ Varun Khullar a.k.a. AAMISH, is sure to become an inspiration for many, proving that when there is a will, there is a way. Not to mention, he’s immensely talented!

The Venue

Probably the only other news, apart from the lineup announcement, that got us cheering on our feet, for TIMEOUT 72, is that fact that it’s going to take place in Goa. All things said, Goa will also have a sweet spot in the hearts of festival-goers in India. While following a central theme of Epoch for 2017, each stage will be distinctively decorated with technicolor props and larger-than-life gimmicks that ultimately lead to a once-in-a-lifetime immersive experience.
