For the first ever time, an Indian DJ will perform at the world’s most popular electronic music festival.

DJ Shaan Singh, more popularly known by his stage name ‘(S)haan’ has added another feather to his cap. After becoming the first Indian DJ to perform at ‘The Box’ at UK’s Ministry of Sound, he’s also slated to become the first Indian DJ to blast a set at Tomorrowland – The massive Belgium based electronic music gathering, this July.

He is also the youngest DJ to perform at Asia’s largest music festival – Sunburn (aged 15), which is also co incidentally incepted by Percept Ltd., headed by  Shailendra Singh – his father. Landing a performance at Tomorrowland is no easy feat, especially for young booming talent – of which there are plenty in India.

He has the experience, having played alongside the likes of David Guetta, Hardwell, Swedish House Mafia and Tiesto on their individual tours to India. Having composed a number of mashups and a few tracks, it’s great to have India represented in front of a global audience. Check out some of his work here:

He will be sharing the stage alongside the world’s best artists, you can check out the entire Tomorrowland HERE.

The Sherp congratulates Shaan on this incredible achievement, keep the Indian flag flying high!
