Watch: A Stage At Electric Daisy Carnival Broke Down Because Of The Bass

EDC’s bassPOD stage was not prepared for the bass. 

Electric Daisy Carnival is one of Insomniac’s flagship music festivals, taking place in Las Vegas every year. This video surfaced recently (via EDM.com) that shows the bassPOD stage at the festival break down after a particularly bass-heavy performance by TrollPhace and Getter.

Even though we’d like to believe that the dubstep act’s incredible bass was what killed the stage, leading it to go out twice, it was probably because of the fact that the entire stage was run on a singular generator. During the second power down, the stage went off for nearly an hour, to the dismay of many attendees. Watch the video clip of the black-out below.

This proves that even festivals as massive as EDC aren’t invincible. Stay tuned for more news.
