The Vamps just announced that they’ll be playing at the Global Citizen Festival India 2016!
The Global Citizen India festival seems to be adding more and more names to their roster by the second. Recently, Indian dance music duo ‘Lost Stories’ announced that they would be playing at the festival. Now we have news that British pop rock band ‘The Vamps’ will also be playing at the mega single day event! The band, which slowly gained recognition through their videos on YouTube, quickly rose to fame!

The Global Citizen Festival India is going to be on a scale India has never witnessed. With over 30,000 passes being given away and several others that were bought by people, the turn out is going to be unfathomable. The lineup for the event is the stuff dreams are made of. Coldplay, Jay-Z, Demi Lovato, A.R. Rahman and a long list of Bollywood celebrities including artists and stars are just a glimpse of what is going to go down at the festival! Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also slated to make an appearance.Β
The Global Citizen festival is the brainchild of Coldplay front man Chris Martin, who started it in New York.Β
The first-ever India edition of the festival is going to go down on the 19th November at the MMRDA Grounds, Banda Kurla Complex, Mumbai.Β
