Apparently, the rapper’s lyrics “encourage violence and intolerance of homosexuality.” Read more below.

It was recently revealed, by Tyler himself and his manager Christian Clancy that the rapper has been banned from stepping foot in the UK, let alone do a concert or festival for the next few years. The reason for this drastic action seems to be the fact that the UK’sΒ  Secretary Of States deems Tyler’s lyrics violent and intolerant of homosexuality andΒ β€œfoster hatred with views that’s seek to provoke others to terrorist acts.”

After the cancellation of his Australian tour because of a feminist group, (we’re not kidding), looks like Tyler’s schedule won’t be very busy this year.

Clancy, who was the one who broke the news through a statement on Tumblr, claims that the lyrics referred to by the UK are those written specifically when he was 18 and,Β β€œCan you imagine being beholden to things you said when you were 18?Β How do you punish someone for growing up?”

He went on to say, β€œI’m not defending his OLD lyrics. to be honest they make me cringe, but i stand beside him because of who he actually IS. our 8 year old daughter, who is constantly inspired by him, said it best; β€œwhy would they ban tyler? that makes no sense.””
