With all the wacky people out there, it’s no wonder that the world has seen some of the strangest festivals there is. From wife-carrying to baby jumping, every kind of unusual event seems to have its own celebration. The Sherp brings you the latest of the strange but captivating festivalsΒ to have caught our eyes.
Introducing the Roswell UFO Festival, courtesy of Montana, USA; America’s very own alien-centric gathering. Known as the conference of the UFOlogists, this festival hosts ‘serious’ urologists from all over the country, sharing everything from abduction stories, rare sightings to crop circles.
The event even serves as a commemoration for the “flying disk” crash incident way back in 1947.Β An event that took the interest in alien lives to whole new levels, spiking the curiosity of the general public as well as dominating the headlines for weeks.
At the Roswell UFO Festival, the whole city dresses up in Reynold Wraps and gather to enjoy events like the UFO Light Parade, conferences as well as fancy dress competitions. This year, the festival is scheduled to take place between the 29th of June and the 2nd of July.
The organizers invite alien lovers and skeptics alike to partake in the celebration and discussion of one of the most debated incidents in history! This four-day event will even feature guest speakers, authors, live entertainment, a costume contest, parade, a pet costume contest, family-friendly activities and more.
