The DJ goes back to his roots for his set at the Electric Zoo Festival 2016 and it was everything and more.
Electric Zoo 2016 was a rager with a line-up of artists like Porter Robinson, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers and the pioneer Tiesto. This year has been good for the Dutch DJ who has been playing at all major EDM festivals. But for the Electric Zoo, he took people back to where it all began 20 years ago and owned the finale of the three-day festival.

The hour-long set included songs like Just Be, Hey Brother along classics such as Platinum, Silence, Mammoth and a great ode to Jauz and Ephwurd’s Rock the Party and many more which left the crowd wanting more. He made a flawless transition from Coldplay’s “Yellow” to his hit “Adagio for Strings”. Fans who have followed his music evolution were delighted to hear both his bass-filled, house tracks with his banging trance close.
There is no denying that Tiesto still continues to produce tracks that inspire and connect everyone through his medium. The Trance God went back to his roots and proved why he fits the title.
