This New Years Eve, Beyond The Valley Festival has decided to emulate Takeshi’s Castle. Music isn’t all you’ll see at festivals anymore, with festivals introducing exciting activities to take the experience to the next level.

These days, festivals are really stepping up their game, with additions that are sure to attract all kinds of audiences. Art installations, interactive sessions and other campsite activities have pretty much made their home at music festivals. But from December 29-January 1Beyond The Valley Festival offers something quite unique – an obstacle course on the camping grounds. The series of obstacles will resemble something a lot like the television reality show Wipeout, which means it’s guaranteed to be a whole lot of fun.

This, in addition to an already awesome lineup promises to make Beyond the Valley quite a fun experience. Artists performing include Jamie XX, Pusha T, Seth Troxler, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and a whole lot of others. With trailblazing activities like these being incorporated to nearly every single festival, the future of music festivals looks quite exciting.
