You would think due to touring and performance commitments with the likes of the Rock’n’Roll giants- Parikrama, Padmashree Award Winner Shubha Mudgal and celebrated Bollywood playback singer Aditi Singh Sharma, one might not get time for other activities. Not Gaurav Balani!
The Bass Player and Composer from New Delhi has been always drawn to “background scores, string sections and orchestral sounds.“
‘INALAB’ and the ‘Couch Potato Series’ (a fan art series dedicated to TV shows around the globe where the background music is based on Gaurav’s interpretations), started seeing Gaurav’s work in 2016. So far, we have seen the release of two tracks which have received over 20K hits! The latest track from the album, called “Hole In The Sun”, is based on Stranger Things and was released on March 10th. The song “Illuminate” featuring Ujwal Nagar was released in January.
INALAB has had another release called “Bonzo feat Julie Hill”!
The first release from the Couch Potato Series was inspired by the popular series – Narcos. “La Catedral Feat. Zachary George” was created with One Digital Entertainment and is Gaurav’s interpretation of Pablo Escobar’s state of mind when he was confined in a jail to avoid extradition to the United States.
