2. Amit Trivedi

Expertly mixingΒ urban melodies inspired by traditional or earthy backgrounds, Amit Trivedi’s compositions are always a treat.
We’ve seen him wow audiences on Coke Studio and turn a bunch of Kolkata kids into roaring fangirls and boys. Now it’s Bangalore’s turn to enjoy the live music of one the country’s most talented composers.

You’d be a fool to miss this one.

4. Sickflip

The β€œbass-heavy solo project” boasts of a diverse mood palette while his music is inspired by the likes of Bassnectar and Koan Sound. Recently, Sickflip garnered some major appreciation for the Ladakh Project, that combined fantastic visuals (shot in Ladakh ) with bass infused Buddhist hymns and sounds, thus making for a perfect mid-evening act to catch.

5. Jon Hopkins

Jon Hopkins is a musical genius. Self-hypnosis is a longstanding personal fascination that Hopkins brings into his music. Β After starting his career playing keyboard forΒ Imogen Heap, he has produced or contributed to albums byΒ Brian Eno,Β Coldplay,Β David Holmes, and others. The Sherp is beyond excitement to see him in action, this sunday. You should be too!

6. Inspector Cluzo

Magical groove, original feeling and sharped sense of rowdy rhythm make The Inspector Cluzo one of the funkiest rock duets in the world. The most surprising thing with the band is, besides that they are only two guys and make more noise than a big orchestra. It’s a unique mix of high-voltage rock’n’roll and fresh funky groove, that had their fans at Kolkata raving about them for days after. Check them out, if you like surprises
