Why: Trance and Electro house daddy, Ferry Corsten has been a stalwart in the industry for almost 15 years. Β He has the power to shape shift, simply because (over the years) he has reinvented himself around Β 30 times. Yes, Ferry Corsten hasΒ around 30 aliases!

Superpower: The Ironman
Why:Β Question is, why not? Putting aside the fact that he looks a bit like Robert Downey JrΒ Milan born Italian DJ/producer Β Benny Benassi is widely regarded as one of the most charming and internationally respected artists in the music industry. Why: For the lack of a better term, Β American trance artist BT’ is a certified Polymath. Apart from beingΒ Β a Grammy-nominated music producer he is also a composer, audio technician, multi-instrumentalist, singer AND songwriter. Phew! How do you do it, man?

Why: As one of the most popular and proficient female DJ’s and producers in India, Β DJ Pearl can be easily be called The Wonder Woman of Dance music in the subcontinent. Why: This German Duo who transitioned from Synth pop to minimal techno, are often called the “Veterans of the Frankfurt electronic music scene.” Their live sets are often βhypnoticβ because of the repetitive sound their minimal music holds and the visuals that helps transform the intensity of the album into a cinematic experience. Why : Β Comprising Β two delhi based musicians, Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj, MIDIval Punditz are a fusion group whose style revolves around electronica, jungle and North Indian classical music. Most of their music features Indian instruments along with a synthesizer and drum machine. Through this interesting combination of instruments they produce some graceful melodies and infectious rhythms that are nothing short of magnetic.
