What to expect from UK’s bass legends this weekend.
It’s official. The pioneers of dubstep are ready to take the stage Indian-style as part of their Asia Tour that also includes places like Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong to name a few. For those who’ve been loyal members of India’s underground and ever-increasing dub squad, the duo holds a seriously special place in their hearts so to call this gig ‘highly anticipated’ might be a massive underestimation. Considering they’ve been pioneering this bass-heavy sound for over a decade, suffice to say the reaction is normal.
Wild City and the rather cloaked new promoters on the block, Oji, will be bringing UK’s most consummate dubstep duo down to Kitty Su in Delhi and Sitara Studios in Mumbai, making it quite possibly one of the first ever warehouse parties in the city for the latter.
We’ve seen what the duo delivers consistently at festivals and clubs around the world via video formats and the sherp’s pretty certain that this is shaping up to be a gig you want to be a part of.
