SXSW has a lot going on this year, considering that this year marks its 30th anniversary. Among those things, comedy actor Seth Rogen premiered his upcoming R-rated animated movie, Sausage PartyΒ at SXSW this week!
The film was screened as a work in progress, and people noticed some glaring rough edges that still needed some treatment. Nevertheless, those who watched the premiere at the festival loved it!
The trailer Seth uploaded on his Twitter profile is a Red Band trailer, which means it’s an all-out, expletive-laden, unabashed preview of the onslaught that is expected in cinemas.
Starring Seth Rogen, Michael Cera, Salma Hayek,Β James Franco, Craig Robinson and Bill Hader as voice-over acts, Sausage PartyΒ is about how food on the supermarket shelves learn the truth about food when they’re bought raw and “harm” is inflicted upon them.
Sausage PartyΒ arrives in theatres on August 12.
