Vh1 Supersonic gets a multi-genre makeover and massive sponsor support too!
Gionee Vh1 Supersonic powered by Budweiser is all set to take place between the 10th and 12th of February and will feature as a multi-genre international destination. As a result of three successful years, the event has gained tremendous support for this year’s edition. The organisers have gone all out, nearly doubling their sponsorship while partnering with a dynamic range of brands. In doing this, the event will be able to successfully reach out to around 90 million consumers, thanks to the reach of top tie-up brands like Viacom18 network channels and OTT platform VOOT!
In addition to Gionee joining the bandwagon, as a title sponsor, as well as Budweiser powering the event, the complete sponsorship includes the likes of top companies including Fastrack, Mexitos, Ajio.com, Reliance Digital, Bisleri, Spraymint and Dot Shot. The festival now has sponsors across various sectors such as Ecommerce, Lifestyle Consumer, Electronic Retailer and FMCG, to name a few.
Speaking about the huge transformation of Vh1 Supersonic 2017, Saugato Bhowmik, Business Head, Integrated Network Solution & Consumer Products, said, “In the last four years, we realized that our young audience was inclined towards wanting newer experiences and diverse musical genres. Hence, we took a conscious decision to transform this edition into a multi-genre international music festival. This transformation, supported by the success of our previous editions, has led us to a near doubling of our sponsorship value this year.”
Using a unique platform, seamless and symbiotic integration is the manner in which Vh1 Supersonic plan to cement their partnerships and take it to the next level. Customising their efforts with each brand, Vh1 Supersonic are in the process of creating personalised branded content for their sponsors. This will include after-movies for Gionee and Budweiser as well as special webcasts and web-series to be aired on all the channels of Viacom18.
This year, the acts are more promising than ever before with over 50 artists scheduled to perform including three headline acts. Whether it’s sending fans into a whirl over music sensations Eric Prydz and Macklemore or their recently announced headline act, Zedd; the event is going to create memories for sure!
Adding to the exciting news of the line-up, the festival will also feature unique on-ground experiences for the audience. Thanks to these activities, audience members can lose themselves in a range of experimental activities, including hangout zones filled with fun and adventurous activities, making merry in a curated beer garden, weaving their way through engaging art installations, shopping till they drop at the flea market, and a lot more!
