There’s bad news for the Ragasthan faithful as the spectacular desert music festival will not be taking place this year. Β
In quite poetic fashion, one of India’s most anticipated desert camping festivals has announced that it will not be taking shape this year. Citing reasons such as market saturation and unavailability of the artistes they had planned on bringing down as the cause behind this cancellation, the festival has promised to make up for this year’s absence with a bigger and better outing next year.
From Desert activities, to eclectic music, to cinema and camping in the desert, Ragasthan has always placed the music and visual experience at the forefront of their planning. It’s a shame this year couldn’t work out, but expect a power-packed 2016, as they will definitely try to make up for their absence this year.
