Pop Smoke’s 2nd posthumous album will be dropping this Friday, July 16th and this will probably be the last project we get from the Late rapper. Pop smoke was killed in a shootout when he was at the prime of his career, he was the sound of the streets and the people in the industry want to respect him by releasing this album.
Initially, it was set to be titled ‘Pop Smoke’ i.e. it was going to be a self-titled album, which didn’t go well with the fans. As the fans thought the music label was trying to leech off Pop Smoke’s global brand name by naming the album Pop Smoke/ And it doesn’t even make sense to name an album on the rapper’s name as the rapper is already famous.
Usually young and upcoming artists have self-titled LPs because they want people to recognize them, Pop was already a global superstar at the time of his passing. Hence the album name was changed to FAITH. The was delivered to the fans by Steven Victor on Twitter.
Pop Smoke’s; last album was a commercial success and had many notable names on the features list, fans are hoping for something similar form FAITH!
