The band will be playing some great tunes this weekend in Pune!

Shannon & The Silent Riot’s USP is not just their insane dedication to putting on the best show they possibly can, but also their acute attention to detailing.

The brainchild of Shannon Pereira, the band came together in 2012 with Pereira on the lead guitar, vocals by Prasad Salain, Leon Quadros on bass, Cassey Lobo on drums and Joel Crasto on the keys, all well-known musicians from Bombay who have come together to form this rocking group who have been performing all over the country over the past ten years at some well known locations including Hard Rock Cafe, O15 Cafe, I-Bar, Blue Frog, Irish House to private performances, corporate gatherings as well as concept shows.

Even though their rock performances are stellar, the men don’t shy away from other genres! They’ve kept audiences highly entertained by incorporating pop, soft blues and some electronic music to get the people going. With such great talent in hand, who wouldn’t want to get in on the action.

Pereira himself is the youngest exclusive artist to be signed by legendary guitar manufacturers Gibson and its an association that has been going on since the last nine years. The man is currently working on his first album with the band including original tracks like “She Never Cries,” “Stars In Your Eyes” and “I Miss You” which are already getting love from their loyal fan-base. And the man can sure make that guitar come alive!

The group has been recognized as one of the premiere tribute bands for artist Micheal Jackson, rock legends AC/DC and Guns N’ Roses with their ability to capture the spirit of the artist as well as recreating the same fun environment with the use of superb visuals, props, interactions with the audience and the occasional guest acts including singer Manasi Scott.

The group will soon be performing at High Spirits in Pune on the 21st of May as a part of their well known Tribute To The Gods Of Rock which has been specifically curated to cover the evolution of rock in music history, while pushing the envelope of live performance after each show.

Their performance is one not to be missed! Go ahead and book your tickets to watch the band shred their guitar strings to the tunes of rock and since each show is different than the other, it’s one in a million indeed.
