The buzz around this edition of Stereosonic is yet to die down; everyone seems to be reeling from the tragic events that took place at the festival. This has raised the issue of harm reduction techniques v/s drug bans, at Australian music festivals. While many people support the harm reduction techniques, Australian government do not deem it fruitful.
“On the spot advice isn’t a safeguard and you can actually lead a person into a false sense of safety…They are not necessarily reliable,” said South Australia’s Minister for Police Tony Piccolo.
