Founder of Insomniac Events, Pasquale Rotella is going to go on trail in November for embezzlement.

Back in 2010, the death of a 15 year old girl at  EDC Los Angeles launched an investigation into the finances of the festival which still haunt the founder. On looking into the matter deeply, police authorities found out that Rotella had been sending huge sums of unreported money to Todd DeStefano, event manager of The L.A. Memorial Coliseum.

On digging deeper into the issue they found out that the money amounted to more than $1.9 million. Turns out the money was being used to get a guaranteed spot for the now multi-million dollar extravaganza. The facts of the case still remain to be mere accusations as the trial itself has been going on for about 6 years now with regular delays.

It seems like the trial is headed in no particular direction but hopefully it will come to an end with a proper conclusion in November!
