The mighty forces of two massive metal fests, are coming together to put on a show like never before.
Ozzy Osbourne’s Ozzfest and Slipknot’s Knotfest have come together to put up a festival with the most kick-ass lineup ever. In a press conference held by Ozzy, wife Sharon Osbourne and Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, the merger of the two most iconic music festivals was announced. The lineup includes heavyweights such as Black Sabbath, Opeth, Disturbed, Megadeth and Slipknot itself.Β

In their early years, Slipknot was one of the bands that performed at Ozzfest, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. After making it big, Slipknot introduced their own festival, Knotfest. Both the festivals have been responsible for highlighting the best talents in metal and death metal, whichΒ is what makes Ozzfest Meets Knotfest a monumental event in rock history.
Ozzfest Meets Knotfest will be a two day event and will be held at San ManuelΒ AmphitheatreΒ and Festival Grounds in SanΒ Bernardino, CaliforniaΒ with Black Sabbath and Slipknot headlining. Tickets for the festival are expected to go up on sale on May 20.Β
