Matt Bellamy, the inadvertent frontman of Muse, revealed that the band will be headlining Bestival this year.
Muse has been one of the few rock bands that have made an impact on the progression of rock music in the past decade. With their typical amalgamation of Radiohead-esque edginess and experimental to borderline space-rock sound, the band is said to headline this year’s edition of Bestival.
Not announced officially yet, but pretty much undisputed, Bellamy revealed this info during a backstage interview at The Snooker World Championships. (Yes, of all places.)

Bestival 2015 takes place at Robin Hill Country Park, like its previous editions, from 10 to 13 September, 2015. Known for its flamboyance and the eclectic selection of indie/rock acts, this festival’s lineup also features acts like Tame Impala, Rudamental, Skrillex, Mark Ronson, The Chemical Brothers and many more. View the full lineup here. After last year’s kickass edition (headlined by Beck, Foals and Outkast) during which Bestival also broke the record for the world’s largest disco ball, here’s to hoping that this year’s edition is just as awesome, if not better.
