Mumbai-based rapper Naezy a.k.a. Naved Shaikh just released the follow-up to his critically acclaimed single ‘Asal Hustle‘ and raised the bar for the Indian underground hip-hop movement with his awesome word-play!
Titled ‘Tehelka’, the single is the ultimate spiritual heir to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Control’ verse and takes an aim at the so-called Presidents and Kings of Desi Hip-Hop.
The single calls out to the shallow lyricism that is associated with Indian hip-hop and highlights Naezy’s vision for hip-hop in India with witty wordplay. ‘Tehelka’ has been produced by Sez, the mastermind behind hits such as ‘Mere Gully Mein’, ‘Asal Hustle’, ‘Haq Hai’, ‘G Mane’ and ‘Jungli Sher’.
Brought up in the gullies of Kurla, Mumbai, Naezy has come a long way. The Urdu rapper is known for his impeccable story-telling skills and mean beats that accompany his lyrics.
