Turin is in for a treat.
Europe’s leading techno festival is back with a bang for its 2017 edition! This year it will offer two huge main shows on October 28th and 31st as well as a series of smaller lead-up parties and extremely fun events called a “Halloweek” taking place between October 25th – 31st. It will take place in the storied city of Turin at Lingotto!
The sister festival to Movement Detroit will feature some of the biggest names at the festival. The first wave of names announced for the shows includes real heavyweights such as French house trio Apollonia, while techno giants Ben Sims and DVS1 will also play together for the first time ever in a world premiere.
Acts such as Cocoon label boss Sven Vath, Swiss star Sonja Moonear, Detroit pioneers like Jeff Mills, Derrick May and Octave One will be taking the stage! Cobblestone Jazz will be performing live with CLR boss Chris Liebing, Italian Davide Squillace, Janina, Cadenza’s Luciano, House originators Mike Huckaby, Lil’ Louis and much more will also look to perform throughout the week.
To add to this spectacular DJ lineup – Patrick Topping, Ukraine’s techno queen Nastia, Italian Luigi Madonna, Marco Faraone, Terminal M boss Monika Kruse, UK Saved boss Nic Fanciulli, Mood Records star Nicole Moudaber and the brilliant RPR Soundsystem from Romania will also be performing to light up the festival!
The “Halloweek” will host also some special lectures on dance music issues at Politecnico di Torino.
