If like usΒ you’ve been on a pilgrim wait for a legendary act to come to India, that day has most definitely come! Dream Theater is a progressive metal band from the US, that was formed in 1985. TheΒ two-time Grammy-nominated band,Β consists of James Laurie (Lead Vocals), John Petrucci (Guitars & Backing Vocals), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), John Myung (on Bass guitars) & Mike Mangini (Drums, Percussion).
What’s great is that the wait to see them perform live in India is almost over! Dream Theater will take over Mumbai at MMRDA Grounds on October 8th, 2017, to mark their India debut.
Dream Theater make their way down to India, in celebration of 25 years of their remarkable album,Β ”Images & Words”, that even went on to winΒ βThe Best Metal Albumβ at Loudwireβs Metal Madness Award in 2013.
Marking the milestone 25th anniversary of the album, metal-heads all around the world are anxious and thrilled about the upcoming Dream Theater tour.
Expect James‘ trademark vocals, John Petrucci’s riffs and an encapsulating atmosphere to take your breath away!Β The Dubai and India-leg of theΒ βImages, Words & BeyondβΒ concert tourΒ is being managed by Mumbai-based Opium Events.
Opium Events M.D. Cyrus Gorimar,Β who is also a renowned metal musician of Brahma and Blue Blood fame, has had a long-standingΒ dream of getting the prog-rock/metal giants down to India.
