More than $500,000 worth of ecstacy pills have been taken hold of by the Australian police.
With the second weekend of Australia’s top music festival around the corner, a 6-month long investigation conducted by Australian cops has resulted in the bust of ecstacy worth almost $500,000 (AUD). Future Music Festival, the Australian festival which is one of the continent’s largest dance music events, kickstarted it’s proceedings this past weekend. Rounding out the headliner’s billing for this year are Afrojack, Nero, Example, Die Antwoord, Sigma, 2 Chainz, Blasterjaxx, Robin Schulz, Klingande, Gorgon City, Carnage, Bassjackers, and Yellowclaw and many more.
More than 7,500 ecstacy pills were busted in Queensland en route to the festival grounds, and this seizure could prove to be of massive importance in the smooth running of the gathering that”s going to be attended by a vast audience from across the globe. 17 offenders have been taken into custody and this is just a few days before the highly anticipated second weekend of the festival kicks off.
The Sherp is eagerly awaiting more of these busts, and strongly hopes to report many more such pieces. Good job, Australia!
