Pune is the place to be and we agree. Do you?

Sunburn is not only celebrating the festival’s tenth anniversary this year, but they also have a new location for the celebrations – Pune!Β The city is Mumbai’s favourite party destination with its host of youth-centric pubs and parties. The vibe and weather make for an intoxicating cocktail of good times and we couldn’t be happier about the change in venue. So here are a couple of things that will keep you busy when you’re not dancing away at Sunburn 10:

1. SereneΒ locales a stone’s throw away.

Yes yes, we know Sunburn Hills is going to satisfy your need for peace and serenity. But, if you are looking for a change in environment, then drive down to these destinations located at the best possible distance from Pune, like Lonavala, Khandala, Lavasa, Pavna, Karjat and a few others and still make it back in time for the festival.Β YouΒ can also extend your stay for a day or more andΒ shack up in the many resorts stationed at these destinations.

2. It’s proven. Winters make your hungry.Β

At this time of the year, the city is at a relatively good temperature during the day but it’ll drop to around 10 degrees by night. With a comfy jacket protecting you, set out to catch a good meal at the local joints that are open till the wee hours of the night. Being a college city, it’s impossible to not find hungry teenagers crowding around a stall. We suggest you stop by the most crowded one, because it could possibly be the most popular one.

3. NoΒ after-party tickets? No worries.

Couldn’t score passes for the Sunburn 10 After Parties? We have alternatives for you. With plenty of millennials staying in the city, there are tons of cool barsΒ and clubs to go to. Some of the favourite spots to dance are High Spirits, blueFROG, 1000 Oaks, Hidden Place and many more. Plus, most of them are located in the heart of the city itself, so you don’t have to venture far in a drunken haze.

4. You’llΒ find a younger crowd that knows what’s up.

Pune is one of the most populated cities in the country and it is a growing techΒ hub. That means you’ll find a lot of young teens and young adults (I refuse to say people in their mid twenties) in the city. Get to know super exciting activities that take place in the city through them for an interesting experience, cause you know, YOLO.

5. So. Many. Heritage. Sites.

The city was once the centre of the Maratha Empire and, to this day, has some iconic locations that symbolise the heritage of the Peshwas and Shivaji Maharaj. It’s filledΒ with statues and beautifully carved buildings that demand a double take. You can explore the city for a bit at a few iconic locations and be back in time for the festival, Β or just take a few extra days to look around!

6. There’sΒ something for everyone and we’re loving it!

Like Mumbai, there is always something going on during the weekends in Pune. The hustle and bustle never stops once you reach there. It might be a theme night at a club, a trek and more. You name it and Pune has it. You can be adventurous or lazy, depending on your preference, and you’ll have somethingΒ that catches your interest for sure.

8. OrΒ why go anywhere else when you are at Sunburn 10?!

Tons of food, interactive zones, a camping spot perfect for star gazing and more, all within walking distance!
