As one of house’s up and coming DJs, Glasglow’s Denis Sulta’s parties are never dull and his music features a blend of garage elements with tasteful synths and samples. Start your night off right with this year’s “Nein Fortiate / Dubelle Oh XX” release off of his own Sulta Selects.

2. The Black Madonna

One of this year’s rookies to CRSSD Festival, The Black Madonna’s no stranger to keeping the energy high. The only thing to expect from one of Marea’s sets is that you won’t want to sit down. Her first new release since 2013 is the upbeat disco hit “He Is the Voice I Hear” off her own We Still Believe imprint.

3. Marcel Dettmann

Beghain resident Marcel Dettmann’s version of techno is revered by most with his skills behind the decks as a talent not to be missed. His recent collaboration with fellow Berliner Ben Klock is a 7 song testament filled with intensity and purpose.

4. Julia Govor

Not to be outdone by her German neighbors, Russia’s Julia Govor is a force to be reckoned with. Progressing the genre with her interpretation of expansive techno, Julia commands attention with her music. This year’s “5000 Moments” is an example of her curiously hypnotic arrangements.

5. FKJ

While ending the night can be depressing, FKJ’s new full-length album of easy-minded, sultry melodies will bring you down smoothly. This one-man band virtuoso transitions through jazz, R&B, and hip-hop providing the perfect soundtrack to drift away to.
