ADE is the world’s biggest club festival for a reason. They’ve nailed the ‘club’ part of their tagline! Amsterdam Dance Event has been a club-oriented festival since its inception, having gigs and workshopsย at hundreds of clubs and other indoor spaces in the Netherlands during the 5-day event.
Following a similar pattern here, ADE has chosen some of the best venues in Mumbai to host their various showcases and events. The Sherp is here to give you the lowdown on what’s going to happen at these venues!
1. Tote On The Turf

Tote On The Turf brims with opulence and luxury. This indoor space at Turf Club, Mahalaxmi is the perfect venue for a lot of large-scale events, and ADE has chosen this place for the bulk of their events. All the day programs fromย April 8-9 will happen at Tote On The Turf, which include panels, master classes and workshops.
2. Kitty Su

One of the better clubs in the country, Kitty Su is located close to Mumbai’s airport, situated in The Lalit hotel. Kitty Su will host OWSLA’s massive showcase which will feature Kill The Noise, What So Not and Wiwek, Also, sLick will have one of their showcases here, featuringย Claptone, Bullzeye, Blurry Slur and Orbs & Zen
3. antiSOCIAL @ Khar

A relatively new venue compared to the others on this list, antiSOCIAL is an indoor space that’s slowly getting popular for good music and its numerous indie gigs. It’s one of the few places in the southern suburbs that give you the vibe. UnMute’s first showcase will happen at antiSOCIAL, featuring Sound Avtar, DJ Sa, Spryk, Big City Harmonics and Kaos.
4. Todi Mill Social

Belonging to the Social Offline family, Todi Mill Social is one of the most popular venues in Lower Parel for gigs and food. Todi Mill Social will play hosts to both the OML showcases, and artists like Dualist Inquiry, Sandunes, Nucleya, Ritviz, Anish Sood and SickFlip will performย there. Also, the day programs for April 7 will happen here!
5. Blue FROG

Blue FROG is one of the most popular clubs in the country, and the biggest DJs have performed here. It’s located right in the heart of the city, at Lower Parel. Blue FROG will have two showcases; on April 8, the KRUNK Showcase will happen, featuring Aqua Dominatrix (Live), Oceantied, Kumail, EZ Riser & Oblique (Visuals). On April 9, sLick will host their Mumbai takeover here, featuringย Finnebassen, Me&HER, Mr. Has, Sequ3l, Bhish and Chabb.
6.ย Courtyard, High Street Phoenix

The large open space at High Street Phoenix in Lower Parel has had some massive free concerts in the past, considering that it’s a space in a mall. The Courtyard will have the Sunburn Showcase, featuring sets from the newly-formed Force (Sartek, Shaan and Joshi), Zenith and One & One.
7. ARK Bar

This bar, situated inside Courtyard by Marriott, is close to the airport, in Andheri. Considering that it is a hotel property, ARK Bar is one luxurious space. On April 8, Ankytrixx will have his CTRL ROOM showcase, featuringย himself, Jehan Johar, Audio Glitch, Priya Sen. The next day will have the second UnMute showcase, featuringย Arjun Vagale, Kohra, Oozeundat, Praveen Archary and Audio Units.
