Prior to its massiveΒ 2015 edition in Goa, Sunburn is bringing a phenomenal lineup to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.Β
We recently confirmed the rumour that DJ Snake would be touring India soon. Sunburn On The Road, the festival’s pre-Goa tour will hit four cities – MumbaiΒ (November 13), DelhiΒ (November 14), Bangalore (November 12)Β and HyderabadΒ (November 15) this month. If you’re restless with anticipation, here’s a glimpse of the stunning lineup!
1.Β DJ Snake
Grammy-nominated electronic producer, DJ SNAKEΒ shot to new levels of popularity with his recent collaboration with Major Lazer for βLean Onβ, and after winning the Billboard award for βTurn Down For Whatβ.Β His tweet in July hinted towards a visit to India, which was later confirmed by Sunburn. 2. R3hab
R3hab, or Fadil El Ghoul is a Dutch DJ and record producer with a slightly darker style reminiscent of early psytrance and gabber compositions. Heβs now a huge name in the EDM universe, even winning theΒ IDMA Best Breakthrough Artist Award in 2012.Β Listen to his groundbreaking collaboration ‘Kashmir’ with KSHMRΒ below!
3. Chuckie
Clyde Sergio Narain, known popularly by his stagename Chuckie, is aΒ Surinamese-Dutch DJΒ who has worked with massive names such as Skrillex, LMFAO, Afrojack and more. With several phenomenal remixes and original tracks, there is much to look forward to at Chuckie’s set at Sunburn On The Road.
4. Matisse & Sadko
Alexander (Matisse) and Yury (Sadko) are a Russian electronic club duo from St. Petersburg. Their collaborations with artistes such as Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn and Tiesto have garnered them a lot of fanbase and attention from other massive musicians in the EDM scene. 5. (S)haan
Wonderkid of the Indian EDM scene, (S)haan was the first Indian DJ to play at Tomorrowland in Belgium. The DJ is now bringing all his house/EDM splendour to Sunburn’s pre-Goa parties in all four cities. Listen to some of his music below.
6. Sartek
Sartek is one of the widely recognized DJs in India. Having played opening sets for gigantic electronic acts such asΒ Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Nicky Romero and Steve Aoki, Sartek will be introducing his soundΒ at Sunburn this year. His debut track ‘Apocalypse’ ; released on Tiesto’s imprint Magik Muzik (Black Hole Recordings) and was voted the track of the week on legendary British producer Andy Duguid’s Radioshow After Dark Sessions.Β Listen to some of his music below.
7. Joshi
Having made his DJ debut at Sunburn Goa 2013, Rishabh Joshi (not to be confused with Rishabh Joshi from Lost Stories) has played many local music festivals ever since. The Indian DJ has shared stages with international acts such asΒ Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Sander Van Doorn, and many more. Listen to his track below.
8. DJ Sa
DJ Sa is a hip-hop DJ from Mumbai.Β He is known for his distinctive music style, which combinesΒ the rhythm of hip-hop with the pulsing beats of EDM. DJ Sa has worked with international artists such as Akon, 50 Cent, Chamillionaire, Sam Scarfo, DJ Whoo, MIMS & Green Lantern to name a few. Listen to his track ‘Deep For Love’ below.
9. MojoJojo
AkshayΒ Johar, pseudonym MojoJojo, is a 26-year-old DJ/producer from India. His sound leans towards drum & bass and trap, amalgamating several sub-genres. Having released a 4 track EP, MojoJojo is garnering a major fanbase with every gig in India. Listen to his music below.
