For all those Adele fans who have been waiting with bated breath for confirmation, the songstress confirmed it herself: she is coming to Glastonbury this year, as a headlining act!
The ‘Hello’ hit maker will join Muse and Coldplay as a fellow headliner for this year’s edition of the popular British festival. The announcement came during her residency at London’s O2 arena, where she addressed the crowd. Via BBC, her words were this: Who’s going to Glastonbury this year?” she asked. “See you there. I’ll be there. I’ll be headlining on the Saturday night this year.”

This announcement finally put all long-standing rumours to rest. Adele teased an appearance at Manchester, jokingly saying that she will dress up as Elsa and her kid as Olaf, and come to Glastonbury.
Reactions on social media were very positive, with several people praising the amazing booking for Glastonbury this year.
