Disney India is all set to bring one of our most favourite characters, Aladdin in a Broadway musical style to the Indian stage in the summer of 2018.  

Get ready to relive your childhood memories as Disney India, in what we term as a thrilling move, has announced its return with yet another hit Broadway musical – Disney’s Aladdin. Rolling out the magical carpet in the summer of 2018 is Disney’s Aladdin as it promises the production will be filled with magic, comedy, and a breathtaking spectacle through a licensing model. With the audience’s expectations now multiplying, Disney India plans to bring on board the best of local talent for its Indian production of Disney’s Aladdin.

In 2015, starting a revolution in India was the locally produced Beauty And The Beast, the first-ever Broadway-style stage musical that marked a milestone in India’s live entertainment industry. With a promise of taking the upcoming magical experience a notch higher, Disney’s Aladdin is another spectacular musical in the making that we wait to experience. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, the show will feature music by Tony Award and eight-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken. The lyrics will be penned by Howard Ashman, Tony Award, and Tim Rice, all of whom have won Oscar for their previous works.
