US-born and Welsh raised DJ and producer, Dauwd, is set to make his debut India tour early next month.
Dauwd is a name to reckon in the upper-levels of the electronic music scene around the world. Having been previously signed with labels such as ‘Kompakt’, ‘Ghostly International’ and the recent, Ninja Tune’s sub-label ‘Technicolor’, with which he released his much acclaimed debut album, “Theory of Colours”, Dauwd has been carving a niche within his electronic sound experiments. The international artist is all set to come to India, being brought down by Mumbai-based Regenerate group. Dauwd will hit a 3 city-tour while he is in India. Dauwd will kickstart the Indian leg of his tour at Summer House Cafe, Delhi for the “Various Artists” series presented by Wild City in association with Regenerate, before heading to Bangalore. Dauwd will be seen performing at Blue Frog, Bangalore in association with Levitate before ending his tour in Mumbai. Check out the entire schedule below:
Dauwd’s unconventional and popular beats have made him an integral member of the Berlin event series and radio show ‘African Acid is the future’. Not one to stay confined to limits, Indian audiences are surely in for a treat as Dauwd takes stage during his 3-city tour.
